THE WINNERS OF THE VR NOW AWARDS 2021
During a festive live streamed event of the VR NOW AWARDS on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, live on YouTube the winners of this year’s VR NOW AWARDS have been announced. TV moderator Lina van de Mars hosted the award ceremony streamed on YouTube. Stephan Schindler, Chairman of the organizer Virtual Reality Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. (VRBB) welcomed the viewers. Prof. Dr. Jörg Steinbach, Minister for Economic Affairs, Labour and Energy from the federal state of Brandenburg, and Helge Jürgens, Managing Director of Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg adressed the audience in a video greeting. The awards honor outstanding technical, commercial and artistic XR achievements in the fields of virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality and 360° video. The nominations and winners were selected by an independent expert jury.
